A solar energy system works by efficiently converting high energy particles, provided by the sun, into electrons, which are then stored in batteries as electrical current in sufficient quantity, to power your equipment when needed. The stored energy can be used as a direct current source, or inverted into an alternating current. Systems can be designed at the voltage, daily load, and reserve power demands you require. The defining factor for all energy needs is Watts Hours per day. As you can imagine it's a bit more complicated than simply working out Watt Hours per day, but fundamentally it's where everything starts
